WHAT WE DO

Through sponsorship children have access to health care, education and companionship. Education has been found to help prevent people trafficking.

When spectacles are provided to children under the age of 7 then strabismus (squint) can be averted.

Self sufficiency is encouraged. Such training is to be delivered through professional training workshops.

It is not unusual to find some school without any computers. Donors are generous in helping in this area.

PROGRAMMES

Moldovan nationals run our programmes in Moldova. They are instrumental in contacting local mayors who direct them to families in need in their villages.  We co-sponsor a drop in center called Ester House, we run a sponsorship program for children.  In this financial year we will have delivered  clothing to villages, computers to schools, and spectacles to the Union for the Blind in Chisinau.  We operate through various partner organisations in the Republic.

Last year we supported Childrens Day in the Republican Centre for Children in Chisinau. Children had a great day celebrating the national festival with a party.
